Born from an obsessive love of sports and photography, Beach Lion Sports merges these two worlds to create truly captivating imagery.

As a sister company to Beach Lion Studios, a video production and creative studio started in 2016, our sports creative experience includes college athletics, MLB, and the NHL. We bring our collective expertise and resources to deliver epic shots to athletes of all ages.

Mike Nolasco is the guy behind the camera. From working in-house with the Tampa Bay Rays and the University of South Florida, to collaborating with Beach Lion’s sports brands, his background has always involved sports. Back in the day, Mike played football, basketball, and ran track, but can now mostly be found on the basketball court.

Laura Nolasco is the production side, finding the perfect location for a shoot, coordinating all the details, and making sure shoot day runs smoothly for clients. Growing up, swimming and sailing were her sports, and while she’d rather be on a bike or swimming these days, she will run if chased or completing a triathlon.

Together, they make sure the shoot day experience is unforgettable, the athlete and sport are truly represented, and the images exceed your expectations. The result is a collection of unique portraits that capture the personality, determination, and hard work that athletes pour into their sport.
